A FILM BY ERICA DANIELS | RUN TIME: 30 MIN | NOMINATED: 2017 GOLDEN SHEAF AWARD AT YORKTON FILM FESTIVAL A story that follows 2 Indigenous youth on a journey of healing, they enter into an ancient rites of passage ceremony in hopes to reconnect with their identity as First Nations people & be inspired to become future leaders of their community. THE FILM EVENT WILL FEATURE A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY CREE OPERA SINGER, RHONDA HEAD PANEL DISCUSSION WITH DIRECTOR AND GRANDMOTHERS IN ATTENDANCE TO FOLLOW PROCEEDS TO RITES OF PASSAGE FOR YOUTH TO ADULTHOOD AT THE TURTLE LODGELocation
