good morning Aug.17, 2015 and this is the first time hearing this great interview miigwetch Dave for this interview I am very excited about this new hospital, I was a RNA working in my community and most of the patients were First Nation from Pic River First Nation/Pic Mobert First Nation and it is true most of them were diabetics. I also had a brother myself who lost his life at a tender age of 30 admitted to the hospital and died shortly after because he when into a coma. So many of our people are diabetic. The reason why I am so exited is because we can do our ceremony here which I believe is a big part of our healing, I myself believe in the traditional way, being a Sun Dancer and going to all of the ceremony that Dave has bought to our community of Pic River, I had no idea about this when I started in the early 1980’s. I believe in the use of traditional medicines as I have used them in my healing as a Cancer Survivor of Breast Cancer 18 years ago, and I have quit smoking with traditional medicines but if you tell your family doctor about taking medicines he will have to say it is okay and interfering with the western medicines I believe that it is between the Spiritual Healer who doctor’s you and gets direction to use these traditional medicines then it is between my self and the Creator. I love everything that Dave was saying about this hospital, it will benefit our people.
