Montreal Leadership Update

I just came back from Montreal where I had been invited to attend a really special meeting of Indigenous leaders and prominent Canadians on November 12, 2013.  The meeting was chaired by the former Premier of the Northwest Territories, Stephen Kakfwi, and was hosted by former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in his Montreal boardroom. This group began gathering earlier this year with the purpose of harnessing the collective experience, skills and talent of a group of prominent Canadians and Indigenous leaders in efforts to contribute to building a new partnership with First Peoples and all Canadians. I invited the group to a gathering at the Turtle Lodge on May 14, 2014, Ogimakamik – A Lodge of Leadership – intended to support and complement our initiatives as leaders.

I could not agree with you more.Until we are able to gather our leaders across this land to speak with one voice we will not be able to fulfill our dreams for our children.
    We have wisdom. USE IT!
Stop the greed among some of our leaders.
Try to follow the 7 great teachings
